On March 24, 2025, FFI and partners co-sponsored the hybrid side event, “Accelerating Action on Large-Scale Food Fortification (LSFF) as an Essential Component of Sustainable, Healthy Food Systems”, ahead of the 2025 Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit in Paris, France. The event took place at the official N4G Civil Society Pavilion and highlighted how fortification alliances, policy innovations, and national commitments are driving progress in large-scale food fortification (LSFF) as a critical strategy to address micronutrient malnutrition.
Participants heard impactful success stories, explored newly announced government pledges to accelerate LSFF, and engaged with discussions on sustaining investments through innovative financing approaches and data-driven accountability mechanisms.
