Summary
Flour millers play an integral role by contributing to solve one of the world's most urgent issues: malnutrition. More than two billion people are deficient in one or more nutrients in both developed and developing countries. Through flour fortification, flour millers play an essential part to tackle malnutrition and other health-related challenges together with a diverse network of stakeholders.
In this virtual panel hosted by Buhler, experts from FFI, Buhler, DSM Nutritional Products, and Bakels discussed current trends, challenges, and opportunities in the flour milling industry, including key topics around flour fortification.
