Eastern and Southern Africa Training of Trainers

The goal is to increase the capacity of flour fortification stakeholders to plan for, implement, and monitor well-developed, feasible, and efficient flour fortification programs. We will train individuals who are passionate about flour fortification on how to effectively communicate and share their knowledge and skills on the topic with others.

Participants will be enrolled in an online training course to complete prior to their attendance. At the event, they will be trained in fortification and monitoring basics, multi-sector alliances, legislation and standards, premix, monitoring plans, equipping a mill for fortification, internal monitoring, and external monitoring.

Twenty people from a variety of professional backgrounds are planning to attend. They represent 11 countries:
